Network Marketing
(also known as MLM or Multi-Level Marketing) is one of the fastest growing yet
most misunderstood methods of moving products in use today.
Retailing is the
foundation of Network Marketing. Income & Sales in MLM or Network Marketing comes from
distributors sharing & selling products with others.
MLM is like Direct
Sales, with the big difference being that you can “sign people up”. When you
sign people up (recruit them), you become their sponsor or direct upline. When
you sponsor someone you are responsible for teaching that person you “signed
up” all that you know
about the business, and help them to build their own business and duplicate
your efforts to make their business grow also. They then “sign people up”
also, like you did, thus growing their business, and they then go below them in
the downline, and you become that new person’s upline also, with the person
you first sponsored becoming their upline sponsor. The process keeps
being repeated/duplicated again and again. Every person “signed up” in the MLM
business can recruit/sponsor as many people as they want. The more people you
sponsor and teach to do the same, the more money you make in the long run.
Depending on the MLM company, the way you structure your downline may vary, along
with the commissions you are paid may vary.
Sponsoring is what
makes an MLM business grow. Now you don’t get paid for sponsoring people;
therefore to
make money you need to sell the products. You can sell product to people and /or
they can usually go on autoship to have products shipped to them monthly
without you needing to get a monthly product order from them. Usually with MLM
you yourself need to have product on autoship monthly to be eligible to
receive the commissions you've earned.
When people try
the products usually they can feel a difference, feel that the products are
unique in some way and are valuable and make a difference in helping lives. This then helps motivate people to share these products, along with the MLM
business opportunity to others. By sharing the business opportunity and the
products with others, you can help people physically & financially. They can
get paid for selling products and by feeling the difference the products make
in their lives to make them healthier.
With MLM you can
get paid in various ways, normally through sales you make to people or by
sales others make in you organization (downline) below you. By having downline
and/or customers on autoship monthly, there isn't a need for you to do as much
direct selling of the products to customers, because this way your downline
business associates are also your customers, and you can earn monthly
commissions from them, as well as other customers on autoship. These "passive"
monthly product orders from your downline associates and customers then
creates residual income for yourself, which you earn without even needing to
sell directly to them that month. With residual
income you make a small percentage of income every time someone in your downline
or any of your customers buys (a) product(s). This is what creates financial security. If you get
enough people in your downline (and enough customers) and you are earning the income you’d like,
eventually you can get to the point where you do less recruiting and maybe
even no recruiting if you want to. By working hard to build an organization,
you can still earn the income you want just based on you’re
team’s/organization’s efforts. If you builds a strong organization, it can
eventually give you all the income you need.
