So, Why do you want to work at home?

Well, there are probably many reasons why you may want to work at home. Let me tell you just a few of my reasons, and then you see if you can relate just a little; hey, you might even think of some new reasons that I didn't list.

Let me start out by saying that, for me, my number one reason is because I do NOT like the idea of working for other people, just to help them get rich; especially while I am their "under-paid" employee helping to make them money. I want to work for myself! I hate knowing that even though I work hard every day at a job and I put forth a good effort, and doing a good job I might add; that my job security still ONLY depends on my boss' opinion of me, NOT on how good I think I'm doing or how much I think I deserve. Also, did I mention, I hate working 8 hrs or more a day at a job I hate. This may be the #1 reason for MOST people. Some jobs may be better than others, but when it comes down to it, a JOB is still a JOB; working form someone else, on their terms, in many cases receiving little to no respect from your boss. Besides the drudgery or a JOB, I also hate being away from my family so much. I want to stay home and be with my family as much as possible. I like the freedom that working at home for myself brings.

To succeed in anything we need to have something that motivates us, something that drives us to succeed. With a job, usually it is the fear of not being able to pay our bills that drives us. Most people don't like their jobs, they just go to their JOB because they need to make money to survive. With a JOB, most of use barely make enough money for bills let alone have anything extra after bills. Some of us need to get a SECOND JOB just to make ends meet & have something left over to "play with", save whatever. Some people need our spouses to work also, some of us even need to put our kids in day care. It's horrible. I can't be driven solely by the thought that "I'm going to earn enough money to barely get by (if I earn that much)". I need to enjoy what I do. I NEED to be driven by something that excites me, motivates me, and makes me WANT to push myself to succeed. I need to have a PASSION about what I am doing. I can't just drudge along through the day doing what I "have to", not what I "want to". I can't just watch the time slowly creep by at work,... seriously, at times a few minutes at a JOB can feel like an hour. Can you relate? When you have a real DESIRE and PASSION about what you are doing for a living, it makes all the difference in the world!

Now these statistics are a bit old, but I'm sure they are just as bad now, if not worse. I heard recently that, in the U.S., all the social security funds we have to provide the elderly with their income after retirement, will be dried up by around year 2041 or so.

Since we shouldn't hope to earn more than half (if we're lucky) of our current working income when we retire, from our social security income alone; we should definately have some sort of back up plan for retirement other than just government assistance. We should have other investments, saving &/or income.

This is where working from home, & a Work From Home opportunity comes in. I mean, we could try to get a second or third job to get extra income to get use some extra cash to help out, but then we have no time to do anything. Is that what we want, I mean we might earn a lot more money that way, but then we have no time to do anything to enjoy our lives or family. We need to Work From Home, which can, if we do it correctly, give us the FINANCIAL freedom & TIME freedom we need to reach both our FINANCIAL & TIME goals.

So, in short, if you want to retire well & enjoy life more, now & then, you need to Work From Home with a reputable Work From Home business or opportunity; because the chances are very slim that you can rely on the government, your 401K, your savings, or your family or friends only for financial support after you retire. You should either plan to support yourself with a combination of a the small amount of government help (if available then), other savings, etc & you STILL working a job, OR have (a) successful Work From Home opportunity(ies). Our own stable business from home can be our answer to more happiness & less financial worries now,  & after retirement.
